We capture your film to DVD projects with more viewable area!

Image4

Your projector at home (or the projector your relatives had) uses a gate to frame the picture. The frame you are viewing on the screen is actually about 15% larger than what you see. Our telecine systems use enlarged gates, which allows us to capture the image well outside the normar fram of view. We even capture bits of the previous, and next fram, along with the sprocket holes on the sides.

During our editing process, we then crop this image down to within 3 pixels of the actual video frame. We then add a slight border to the image. The border is then the section that is hidden behind the outer casing of your television out of sight. This way, we've taken the viewable picture a step further by allowing less of the actual image to be hidden when you're viewing your DVD's on a television.
